Lindores Abbey Spanish Wine Barrique is a Lowland single malt Scotch whisky matured in shaved toasted and re-charred red wine barriques from Spain. It shows a dark chestnut hue with aromas of apricot jam toffee a hint of cinnamon butter and custard. The silky palate combines sweet spice mellow plums red berries and cinnamon with a pleasant woody smoky note. The finish is medium to long with spices honey and caramel.
