Edradour Caledonia 12 Year is a Highland single malt Scotch matured first in bourbon casks then finished for four to five years in Oloroso sherry casks. The nose balances sultanas and figs with honey. The palate is rich with Christmas cake toasted almonds and a hint of orange spice and a splash of water brings the fruit and sherried oak forward. The finish is gently warming spicy and dry. Unchillfiltered with natural color. A small-batch handmade release.
